Manish Arora teams with Swarovski Crystallized

Designer Manish Arora has joined forces with Swarovski Crystallized to create crystal transfer motifs and a capsule range of three T-shirts featuring Indian gods and goddesses - Lakshmi, Ganesha and Nandi. The crystallised t-shirts will be available exclusively at Swarovski Crystallized stores in London, New York, Shanghai and Austria from June this year. As with all things Manish Arora these are bound to sell like hot cakes!

My latest purchase with an 'Indian' touch

For the first time in my life I'm trying to be good with my finances and taking baby steps to start saving, paying off credit cards etc aka things that all smart people do. Yes, it has taken me a while even though I've been in the banking industry for over 6 years now!

The exception to the above stated was my birthday last week and I decided to treat myself to this gorgeous Sass & Bide jacket with gorgeous metal beaded cuffs with my birthday money from my lovely sister and brother in law so I am all ready to brave the chilly Melbourne winter. S&B is one of my favourite Aussie brands and on the B-town scene Sonam Kapoor would so be suited to their designs. Amongst the Indian designers, Anamika Khanna shares a very similar design aesthetic to this popular Aussie designer duo.

Denim improvements

From the debacle at Resul Pookutty's felicitation with the not so flattering white blouse, wrong footwear and ill fitting jeans we see a slight improvement in the classic teaming of white with denim with Gul Panag's second appearance for the week at Varon Sharma's book launch.

Pratima Bhatia brings out her See by Chloe dress again for play at the latest GQ Bar Night at Mumbai hot spot Olive. The first time I spotted this dress on Pratima was at the Tiger Beer Brunch in October last year at which point I didn't even know she was! Thanks to Miss Mallini I now know her name!

Hindustan Times recently got a sneak peak into Gauri and Shahrukh Khan's world through their newly launched feature on Power Couples of Bollywood.
