Rani made a rare public appearance at Bhavna Somaiya's book launch unfortunately not dressed to impress. What I absolutely love about Rani is her love and endorsement of our desi designers in times when everyone else in the industry is dressed head to toe by international design houses.
Having said that though I am a bit disappointed with this rather drab suit. Rani loves wearing Sabyasachi and who doesn't love a Sabyasachi creation. Very much doubt it that this is one from his repertoire !
What do you think of Rani's look - hit or miss?

I love rani a lot but the suit does not really seem to suit her
I agree...its not flattering at all. She usually gets it right with ethnic wear so am a bit disappointed.
Its definitely a MISS!
The colors don't really suit her and to top it off, the unflattering and plan hairstyle... umm ... can't say that I am impressed.
