Brand watch:LaROK
Whilst I can't wear all their pieces I do like the brand LaROK as they are well priced (compared to most contemporary US brands) with looks that stand out. One of their latest offerings is the Diwali shorts; named as such due to the embellishments, mirror work and colour block embroidery. Available for purchase through shopbop.
Expect to find something like this in the wardrobe of Bipasha Basu.
