Aishwarya Rai Bachchan features on the June cover of Verve in a stunning bow detailed red gown by Shahab Durazi. Whatever I can see of the gown, I totally heart. The magazine also features an inside spread of the former Miss World donning more Shahab Durazi gowns. As the pics surface of the inside spread I'll post them.

In Lvoe with Louis

I came across one of Deepika Padukone's photoshoots from a while ago where she's wearing the Louis Vuitton 'LVOE' tshirt teamed with the Nimbus bag in Ecru. The tee was immensely popular and was also seen on a number of celebrities including Sienna Miller featured on the right below.

Blue on Blue action

Aarti Chhabria's look at the Comedy Store Tour almost made it to the 'match to the extreme' hall of shame. The satin blue blouse doesn't quite work with the blue denim and ghastly powder blue eye make-up. Although she tried to break out of the 'blueness' with the burgundy Louis Vuitton bowler, don't really think its quite helped! source

Faux-pas edition

Update - turns out Kangana's white maxi is the Bebe romantic whisper dress. Thanks 'Shruty' for the tip-off.

Whilst Carrie Bradshaw got away with her black inner wear showing through see through outfits on celluloid in Sex and the City its a look that doesn't sit well with me. After wowing us with her Marc by Marc Jacobs dress (thanks 'anonymous' for the 'ID') Kangana wears a floor length casual maxi which is kinda ok till you are looking at the front but as soon as we see the back with the visible bra it definitely moves into the faux-pas territory for me.

Shoe spotting

Both Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor decided to go dressed-up casual in their newest jeans at the Kambhakt Ishq press meet. Akshay brought out his Louis loafers again that he teamed with a tropical print tee and a buttoned down shirt. Kareena embraced that latest ripped jeans trend and dressed them up with a pair of patent Yves Saint Laurent obi sandals. We also see Akshay sporting a newer do with longer hair which it was about time for.

On a different note its also great to see that the multiplexes and film producers have reached a compromise meaning that movies will be back on the big screen from 12 June. Needless to say I can't wait for Kambhakt Ishq :)

You may already be familiar with the brand Sir Alistair Rai known for their India inspired tees and scarves. What I don't get is when Indian words are thrown into product names just for the heck of it! Here's the latest tie-dye range of harem pants from the designer called 'Aaloo Chaat' - go figure why they are being named so? If you like them you can snag them at chickdowntown. source

Gucci spotting

Spotted on Kareena Kapoor the Gucci Indy bag in a still from the upcoming movie 'Main aur Mrs Khanna'. On the Hollywood circuit the bag has also been seen on Eva Longoria.
