In Valentino

Freida Pinto attended the 18th BAFTA Brittania Awards in California wearing a two-tone Valentino dress from the Spring 2010 collection. I actually prefer the all nude runway version to the one that Freida's wearing. Being the sucker that I'm for dramatic shoes I love the sandals the model's got on. Back to Freida, she completed the look with black sandals, minimal make-up and pulled back hair - overall a very chic look!

Leading the fash pack at Louis Vuitton

Leading a bevy of celebs at the Louis Vuitton pret-a-porter show at Paris Fashion Week was Freida Pinto dressed in but of course a Louis Vuitton head to toe ensemble from the Fall 09 collection. In terms of colours I prefer to the runway green to the cobalt blue but having said that Freida's dress nicely contrasts against the bag. Love love love the shoes.

Update - Turns out Freida Pinto was wearing a Stella McCartney dress from the designer's latest Resort collection. Thanks Red Carpet Fashion Awards for the 'ID'. The clutch is by McCartney as well and the sandals are by Jimmy Choo.

Freida Pinto and Dev Patel made an appearance at the 'Film4 Summer Screen' at Somerset House in London to talk about what else but 'Slumdog Millionaire'! Freida opted for a little black dress that she teamed with a gold cuff and an embellished matching gold clutch and sandals. The outfit is fine, but I'm not loving the hair. Dev went for black too with a touch of white, I somehow can't bring myself to like it though. Your thoughts on the couple's style statement?

Freida and Chanel

Here are some fantastic shots that were taken when Freida Pinto attended the Chanel show at Paris Fashion Week. I've already drooled over the white dress in a previous post so best not to get there again! As can be seen from the pics not only was she lucky to be dressed in head to toe Chanel at the show but was seen carrying a Chanel purse and had a array of lust worthy jackets at her disposal. Jealous - hell yeah!!!

For the May issue of 'Ok' magazine Kareena Kapoor wears ensembles from the Christian Dior Spring 09 collection. She wears a yellow mini on the cover, a similar strapless version from the collection has been seen on Freida Pinto and Mischa Barton. My favourite from the shoot is the floor length gown with the criss-cross halter neck which Demi Moore wore to the Golden Globes.

Just to take some of my envy pangs away someone please tell me that all frocks she's worn to date were "borrowed and duly returned" otherwise I can't tell you how much I would love to raid her wardrobe especially for this monochromatic Chanel ensemble.

Such is life that Freida Pinto made an appearance at the Chanel 09/10 Fall-Winter RTW show at Paris Fashion Week. She was dressed head to toe Chanel in a beautiful white dress, a signature Chanel statement brooch necklace and a satin clutch.

In Dolce Gabbana again

Following on from the Dolce Gabbana show, Ms. Pinto made an appearance at the 'Extreme Beauty in Vogue' exhibition in yet another Dolce frock which was very similar to what she wore to the fashion show; making me question why did she bother to change in the first place? The shoes remain intact and I won't complain about that as I quite like them :)

Oscar coverage: The Slumdog cast

Freida Pinto wore a royal blue one sleeved John Galliano gown which was seen in a sheer version on the runway in the designer's Spring 09 RTW collection. Her sandals which can't be seen in the pic are by Jimmy Choo as reported via Just Jared. I love the blue and the asymeetrical one shouldered design (for those of you who read my blog regularly would know I'm a bit biased to this style ;) ).

Dev ofcourse looked dapper in a tuxedo and so did the rest of the men.

I've also posted a pic of the kiddies from the film who looked super cute and were very excited to be on the red carpet.

Here's wishing the film wins all the accolades that its worthy of.

Whilst Freida Pinto rocked the Nanette Lepore aqua cheetah print maxi dress at one of the numerous Slumdog screeninga, Avantika Birla here dons the cheetah print in a knee lenth dress. Do you have a preference between the two?
