Off camping

In the lead up to Easter I get a long weekend from work (yay!) so am off on my first ever camping trip with my friends in true blue Aussie style. I won't be writing for the next three days but will be back posting from Sunday night as soon as I get back to the comforts of having access to technology again. In the meanwhile keep it stylish and if you happen to get time off from school and/or work like me hope you have a relaxing and fun filled long weekend.

Also keep an eye on your favourite and not so favourite celebs for me, because what would they do without us ;) and keep writing in to let me know what you would like me to post on as soon as I return.

LBD edition

Update - Thanks 'Anonymous' for the tip-off. Turns out Shilpa was wearing a Marc by Marc Jacobs dress which did go on sale at net-a-porter, no surpises got snapped up fast and is no longer available!

Leggy lass Shilpa Shetty wore a black LBD with peek-a-boo pink at the Rajasthan Royals uniform launch. She completed her look with black sandals and a black Bottega Veneta clutch. I love the dress on her.

Wash-out

After that fab saree Genelia D'Souza disappoints in an all white wash-out at a recent spa launch.

Rani on the other hand limited the white only to her kurti paired with jeans and fared a bit better than her previous appearance at Tania Deol's homeware collection launch.

Guess the socialite in Gucci

Take a stab at ID'ing the celeb seen at Tania Deol's interiors collection launch at Good Earth who's wearing the Gucci palm print dress. She completed her look with a Bottega Veneta knot clutch and Louboutin peep-toes. First to guess the name ofcourse get a mention on the post :)

Feathered up

At the Lakme Spa, Malaika Arora Khan decided to team her statement dress with statement feather sandals in an attempt to channel Carrie Bradshaw from SATC. As much as the feathering wasn't required with a dress like this Malaika somehow does pull it off. On the subject of statement sandals I'm currently lusting after the Christian Louboutin petal sandals which you can check out at Bergdorf Goodman. Lets hope they go on sale soon ;p

Mixing it up

I love Deepika's look at the Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2009 beauty pageant where she teamed her black strapless gown with ornate kundan jewellery. Fellow judge Sushmita Sen was also seen in a similar look where she teamed her gown with a ruby and diamond necklace which makes me think that perhaps the event sponsors' 'Nakshatra diamonds' had something to do with it!
