Grecian goddess

Sonam Kapoor as usual stands apart from the rest of the B'town brigade in this toga inspired dress that she teams with flat gladiator sandals and kundan jewellery on the IIFA Awards night. I love the fact that the dress looks so glam but comfortable at the same time. She obviously has a thing for asymmetrical one shouldered numbers as the black dress that she wore the day before and the Chanel she wore to the Filmfares had the same cut. Infact the hair on all three ocassions has been the same.

Interesting outfit...I like the fact that Sonam's always up for experimenting and going "outside the box"

i hate the fact that no rule applies to sonam when it regards to her fahion sense, she wears nonsense and is applauded for "experimenting", "taking risks" etc etc

glads on the green carpet? i mean seriously???
GLADS on the green carpet??

her dress looks more like mahatma gandhi inspired.only thing missing is the lathi

its not the outfit per se; she has put together the look very well;

its just not event appropriate, especially when the event in question is a major awards ceremony

Hi H, yes if one strictly conforms to dress codes flats on the red carpet (green in this case!) are a total no no.
I give her credit though on pulling something like this off as not many on Bollywood would have even gone there.
Who was your favourite at the event?

^ i agree with you Chichbollywood. I really do admire Sonam for being different and experimentative. With her its always something new and fresh, never predicatable ala Miss.Padukone, Miss.Chopra, Mrs.RaiBachan.. Sometimes she gets it right and sometimes she doesnt (mostly right!). This time round i think Sonam has nailed the look to the T! She easily stands out amongst the many people walking the 'green' carpet and looks DIVINE!
ATTA Girl!!!
