Chic in Black & Gold

Of all the celebs who walked the runway at the IIFA Fashion Extravaganza, Sonam Kapoor wearing Anamika Khanna was my favourite. Off the runway Sonam kept it chic in an asymmetrical black dress accessoried with a statement gold necklace and a cuff. I am not totally sold on her choice of footwear but overall it was a great look for her.

Kolkata Fashion Week: John Abraham

I couldn't find a full length pic but if John's bandhgala looks familiar its because we saw the same Rohit Bal ensemble on Arjun Rampal in a colour variation at the Mai Mumbai charity event. Has Mr.Bal run out of time to design as I find it a bit disappointing that for the first ever Kolkata Fashion Week we are seeing outfits that have been featured on runways before.

Awesome twosome in Rohit Bal

At the Mai Mumbai charity event runway show, delish couple Mehr Jessia and Arjun Rampal walked in Rohit Bal ensembles.  Neha Dhupia wore a longer version of the jacket that Mehr's got on at the Gitanjali Style Fest

McQueen spotting

After Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar seems to have taken a fancy to the Alexander McQueen skull scarf. While Akshay seems to hold the collection in a bright colour pallette; Karan has gone for a muted beige and black combo.

On an aside, I wonder if Arjun Rampal and Karan Johar's colour coordination is a coincidence with the white chinos and the colour scheme of Arjun's shirt in sync with the McQueen scarf.

Rajvi Mohan- Delhi Fashion Week

Day 1 of Delhi Fashion Week had debutante designer Rajvi Mohan showcasing her Spring Summer 09 men's range. The collection has 40s style jackets with thin lapels and shawl collars with loose trousers. The jackets remind me of what Arjun Rampal wore to the Nach Baliye red carpet. They work well as part of a formal ensemble unlike how Arjun teamed them with jeans. The collection had nothing ground breaking but had some classic investment worthy pieces. Nach Baliye judges

I'm loving Karisma in a classic Manish Malhotra saree and Farah is looking nice too in a flattering suit. Not too sure what happened to yesteryear supermodel Arjun Rampal's dressing sense though who was seen in a strange Matrix meets Cool dude look which so didn't work!
