Lakshmi Menon wore this Raakesh Agarvwal jumsuit in citus orange in the May edition of Vogue India and now Deepika Padukone rocks it in dusty pink at a Tissot event in Hyderabad. I think both ladies work this tricky garment with elan. The Vogue shot is fantastically taken and Deepika does complete justice to it in real life.

Looks like Vogue US and India joined hands to capitalise on Lakshmi Menon's presence in India to shoot for both magazines together. Whilst she appeared as cover girl for the May issue of Vogue India, Lakshmi also shot for a spread for US Vogue in her hometown of Goa where she posed wearing Spring creations of YSL, Chloe, Alexander McQueen and Carolina Herrera to name a few. Oddly thrown in amongst the designer threads was a very budget friendly dress by Kate Moss for Topshop (costing about 50 pounds) which is no longer available for sale but I've presented a similar styled dress below.

Vogue India's latest cover girl: Lakshmi Menon

Check out the latest cover of Vogue India graced by supermodel Lakshmi Menon wearing a chiffon wrap blouse and ruched chiffon shrug by Ann Demulemeester. The pieces are from the designer's Spring Summer 09 range but were not featured on the runway.

On the inside spread Lakshmi is resplendant in creations of some of the top Indian designers. Will post on those as soon as I have some photos
