Following on from the news that I shared on my blog last month, we finally see for the first time ever Shahrukh Khan and wife Gauri take to the runway together for bestie Karan Johar's debut collection at HDIL Couture Week.

The October issue of Vogue India is graced by Kajol and Shahrukh who also talk about their much awaited upcoming film 'My Name is Khan' in the magazine. Whilst its always exciting to see these two actors come together the cover itself is just strictly ok.
Word's out that KaranJohar has collaborated with VarunBahl to launch a menswear clothing line. His muse Shahrukh Khan will take to the runway alongwithRanbirKapoor (yay!!) and Imran Khan to strut their stuff on October 16th at the Couture Week in Mumbai. Watch this space.

After the tattered dust cloths Shahrukh now accessories with a rope like woolly version which fails to impress again. What say - ditch the man scarf pretty please??
Whilst I didn't spot them on the red carpet when I watching the Golden Globes last night (yes, we don't get to see them live in Australia!)here's a pic of Gauri Khan and KaranJohar accompanying Shahrukh Khan to the Globes.
Gauri was resplendent in a white sequinned saree and a Judith Leiber clutch. Struggling to understand exactly what Karan Johar was doing there? If he was acting stylist for King Khan, it certainly didn't work as the suit didn't fit him well at all and the sequinned tie was "not very nice" to put it mildly. Khan on stage didn't impress me either - bring on Amitabh!!!
AkshayKumar pioneered the trend of male scarf accessorising in Bollywood and now Shahrukh's been seen with one draped around his neck at the Golden Globe rehearsels (can't wait to see him in a Tux at the Golden Globes tonight!). Akshay brought out his McQueen scarf again when promoting CC2C in New York aptly on top of a taxi. How do you think rocks this look better?

Anushka of "Rab Ne..." fame makes an appearance on Nach Baliye in yet another suit which is similar to the ones she's donned at recent public appearances. I like the suit in terms of the silhoutte and the colour combo but this is the same look three times in row, so time to mix it up a bit Anushka!
What's your take on Anushka's outfits at her public appearances so far post the release of Rab Ne? Me thinks she's trying to be a bit "too safe" and "in character" by sticking to these standard designer suits. I prefer the orange number of the green and blue velvet suit. It does resemblance the suit that Shilpa Shetty wore to a book launch recently. Perhaps another Manish Malhotra creation.
The latest Bollywood starlet to make it big is Anushka Sharma who's debuted in Aditya Chopra's movie "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" opposite Shahrukh Khan. She's also walked the ramp for some of India's top designers as well. Here's a dekho
