Anushka Sharma

The latest Bollywood starlet to make it big is Anushka Sharma who's debuted in Aditya Chopra's movie "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" opposite Shahrukh Khan. She's also walked the ramp for some of India's top designers as well. Here's a dekho

The return of the Sharara

Are Shararas back in vogue? If you by Nisha Merchant's collection at IFW'09 it sure is as modelled by Sweta Salve. What's your verdict on this look?

Grandeur and Flamboyance

Minnisha Lamba, Farah Khan Ali (Dj Aqeel's wife) and Sameera Reddy walked the runway for Falguni & Shane Peacock at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week. A bit "out-there", flamboyant and grand are what I would describe these outfits as.

Here's a dekho at some of the other pieces from the collection.

Gauri & Nainika - WLIFW Spring 09

Gauri & Nainika deliver yet another fab collection at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week. The super talented designer duo also seem to be Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's fav Indian designers at the moment. Ash has recently been seen in many a G&N ensembles - the orange strapless gown from the collection is very similar to Ash's black gown at the Longines event and the blue striped gown that you can side ways in the last picture is the same as what Ash wore to the Drona premiere. Only if money grew on trees and I could buy the entire collection! Photo credit - Manish Sharma

Surily Goel - WLIFW Spring 09

I'm a huge Surily Goel fan and whilst some of the pieces look inspired from international runways the silhouettes and the colours she's chosen are prefect for the fashion forward and in sync with the Indian climes. My top two favourites from the collection are the pink tiered dress and the draped blue number. Photo credit: Manish Sharma
