Well done Isha Koppikar on the much needed speedy transformation! I really don't know what to say about her "look" (for the lack of a better word) at the Big FM appearance earlier on the week but I'm sure that word has got around to her already and hence the Cinderella like makeover at the "Rock On" premiere where she teams pin stripe wide leg pants with a fitted white shirt and finishes of the look with a Louis Vuitton Manhattan GM. Whilst the look is more suited for a work meeting than attending a movie premiere I'm just delighted at seeing the shift in her dress sense making it totally applause worthy!

What's with Geeta Basra's obsession with white? Three consecutive public appearances in white ensembles. The realisation has probably started to dawn on her though as outfit number three on the extreme right has a bit of yellow sprinkled through it. Maybe she's slowly moving across the colour spectrum. Rani Mukherjee's rare public appearance - hit or miss ?

Rani made a rare public appearance at Bhavna Somaiya's book launch unfortunately not dressed to impress. What I absolutely love about Rani is her love and endorsement of our desi designers in times when everyone else in the industry is dressed head to toe by international design houses.

Having said that though I am a bit disappointed with this rather drab suit. Rani loves wearing Sabyasachi and who doesn't love a Sabyasachi creation. Very much doubt it that this is one from his repertoire !

Shilpa Shetty seen rehearsing for the UK leg of the Unforgettable Tour in a Juicy Couture velour tracksuit. Juicy Couture trackies are a huge rage in the US and are a favourite with Hollywood celebrities like Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton.

Shilpa is not far behnd her Hollywood counterparts as seen in this pic sporting one of the latest Juicy velour creations. The plum colour really suits her and I love the butterfly graphic with the glitter embellishment!

Can it go any worse?

I have no idea who this is and maybe that's a good thing! But here's a pic of this scary someone from the red carpet at the Maxim Hot 100 Bash. Can it possible go any worse - with the flouro pink dress, uncombed hair in dire need of colour touchup, burgundy lipstick and all of this teamed with ethnic Indian bangles and slip on mules!! She's also seen schmoozing with Deepika Padukone at the event so it is safe to assume that she has the moolah to hire a stylist! Does anyone know who this is?

Who wore it better - Deepika or Bipasha ?

Bipasha and Deepika were seen at a recent press junket to promote their latest film Bachna Ae Haseeno in their weekend denims.

I don't absolutely love either of the two looks but if I had to pick I'll go for Bipasha with the fitted skinny jeans and the classic white shirt as I'm not a big fan of the head to toe coordinating Deepika's done with the matching headband, t-shirt and jeans.

Oh my! Never thought I would see this day after Amisha's makeover in Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic where she's seen in figure hugging belted dresses talking about Gucci and Prada bags!

A far cry from her character in the film is this horribly gone wrong outfit she was seen sporting at the 08 Comedy Awards.

I don't know where to start but I am trully disappointed with her stylist or lack of one for picking this pschedelic dress with the jarring floral print.

I know florals are in but rather than picking up something from the street markets of Thailand perhaps think of turning to the ever reliable Dolce & Gabbana who are showcasing some divine floral creations in their current collections; one of my favourites featured below Amisha's pic and available for purchase through Neiman Marcus.

Spotted - Christian Louboutin on Malaika Arora Khan

The absolutely divine Christian Louboutin black knotted pumps were spotted on the ever so chic Malaika Arora Khan. Loubies are inevitably the most sought after shoes by celebs worldwide with their signature red soles.

The style spotted on Malaika is from last season so your chances of getting one are probably only from Ebay.

Bipasha takes inspiration from Bachna for Reebok

The above shot is from the latest Reebok commercial that teams Bips with Yuvraj Singh The styling for the Reebok ad is very much inspired from Bipasha's look in the first half of Bachna Ae Haseeno where she's seen wearing shorts and singlets teamed with vibrant accessories; my favourite being the red corsage she's wearing in the rain shot.

I love her look in the second half of the film even more where she's seen effortlessly channeling a desi Naomi Campbell complete with super lux gowns, holidaying in Italy and personal assistants working round the clock. I'm trying to find images of her outfits from the second half of the film but haven't had any luck so far.

Maybe this is what Kareena and Saif were thinking when they brought matching "Respect your mother" tees. The most talked about Bollywood couple have been spotted wearing them on a couple of occasions now (thankfully not together! ) doing their bit for global warming! Who wears it better - Lara or Sonam??

Recently both Lara and Sonam were recently spotted (at separate occasions ofcourse!) wearing uncannily similar outfits. Both dresses are in similar hues of purple with the same ruffled neckline, sleeves and length.

Sonam's dress is a 3.1 Phillip Lim creation but I'm not entirely sure if the same is true for Lara's as it does seem a little bit more fitted than Sonam's. Or perhaps Lara just opted for a smaller size to give it a more fitted look!

Lara looks very ladylike in the fitted version which is perfect for the Rajiv Gandhi awards function that she attended. Sonam puts her own arty spin with the two strap headband making it the perfect look to be seen in at an art expo.

Both ladies finished off their looks with must have metallic clutches!

Bomber chic - not quite!

What's with the lady with the million dollar smile wearing the most unflattering jacket on the planet!! Seems Madhuri Dixit decided to raid hubby's wardrobe and went for this oversized leather jacket which is doing her no favours at all.

Fitted leather jackets are all the rage currently and will continue to be over the year. Elle Belle - Sonam Kappor

What's not to love about Sonam Kapoor featured on the cover of the latest edition of Elle India in eclectic green.

My other favourite pic from the magazine is this take on Marilyn Monroe in a Nakul Sen beaded black dress fit for the red carpet.

Sonam carries it with elan and adds her own stamp with her signature black nails.

Bachna Ae Haseeno - Deepika's hot DVF gown

Welcome to my first blog :)

Watched the movie Bachna Ae Haseeno last night- a visual delight not only for the exotic locales and Ranbir Kapoor but also the stunning designs that adorn the three leading ladies.

One of my favourites is the beautiful Diane Von Furstenberg gown that Deepika wears in one of the songs. The 100% silk Lipari gown has a tropical Birds of Paradise print all over it and is equisitely cut. As with all things chic this beautiful gown is now sold out worldwide but you can still score one on ebay at a fraction of the retail price!
