Wearing Christian Dior on the latest issue of Elle and Jean Paul Gaultier on the current issue of Filmfare, Kareena Kapoor seems to be the flavour of the month for mag covers. Deepika graces another magazine cover

After being featured on the cover of Elle Deepika Padukone makes an appearance on the cover of lifestyle mag 'The Man'.

Elle India caps off the year with Deepika Padukone featured in the December issue in creations from Manish Arora's SS09 collection teamed with the highly coveted Christian Louboutin fringe boots. The round toe boots are sold out but the newer peep-toe versions are still available for sale but tread with caution as they will put a massive dent in your credit card at a retail price of USD$1695 + taxes. Coming back to the mag think the look is different from Deepika's usual photo shoots and I actually quite like it - very diva meets rockstar!

Elle October issue

For the October issue cover girl Elle opts for international actor Gabriella Wright instead of the desi celebs. Think the cover is pretty stock standard.

Gabriella is wearing a woollen jacket and hat by John Galliano for Christian Dior Fall/Winter 08.

Flavour of the season- Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra certainly is the fashion flavour of the season as Elle is the second mag this month to feature her on their cover after the September Vogue India issue. On the Elle cover Priyanka is wearing an orange cowl neck dress by Rajesh Pratap Singh.

Elle Belle - Sonam Kappor

What's not to love about Sonam Kapoor featured on the cover of the latest edition of Elle India in eclectic green.

My other favourite pic from the magazine is this take on Marilyn Monroe in a Nakul Sen beaded black dress fit for the red carpet.

Sonam carries it with elan and adds her own stamp with her signature black nails.
