Yet another edgy cover from the stables of Grazia, with the latest cover girl being Kareena Kapoor dressed in a sculpted Balmain-sque jacket with a mini.

Vogue India: Age(less) edition

Vogue India has finally gotten around to producing an Age(less) issue similar to what it's US and UK counterparts did last year. Gracing the cover are yesteryear supermodels Feroze Gujral and Shobha De alongside Ujjwala Raut and Jyothsna Chakravarthy. Feroze is wearing a Armani gown similar to the one that Kareena Kapoor wore on the inaugural issue of Harper's Bazaar. Ujjwala wears Alexander McQueen which I can't imagine anyone wearing in real life but is just so fabulous for editorial.

Obsessed with McQueen

Akshay Kumar sure is obsessed with the Alexander McQueen skull scarf. On the promo stills of 'Kambhakt Ishq' you can catch him wearing the scarf in beige and purple. I'm going to watch the movie tomorrow and sure can't wait! So look out for more posts covering more on the fab clothes the lead pair in the film are wearing. Back to the McQueen scarf; the scarf in the very same colour combo has also been seen on Karan Johar before and Akki owns the same in purple and fuschia which you can check out here and here.

To brave the scorching Dilli heat loved up couple Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan stepped out in comfy casual wear. Kareena in her strapless maxi, pulled up hair and sunglasses looked oh so fine to me till I looked at that hideous chappal peeking through. I mean seriously!!! Whilst I'm all for celebs dressing down and give mere mortals like us the confidence that we don't look so bad either; footwear like this in public or even at home is a big NO no.

Feeling stripey

Next in line after Sushmita Sen to don a stripey ensemble is Kareena Kapoor at the Kambhakt Ishq press conference. Whislt whatever I can see of the outfit doesn't look quite as bad as what Sushmita wore, I still can't bring myself to like it. The multi colour and the bold and the thin stripey combo just doesnt' do it for me. Your thoughts?

Shoe spotting

Both Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor decided to go dressed-up casual in their newest jeans at the Kambhakt Ishq press meet. Akshay brought out his Louis loafers again that he teamed with a tropical print tee and a buttoned down shirt. Kareena embraced that latest ripped jeans trend and dressed them up with a pair of patent Yves Saint Laurent obi sandals. We also see Akshay sporting a newer do with longer hair which it was about time for.

On a different note its also great to see that the multiplexes and film producers have reached a compromise meaning that movies will be back on the big screen from 12 June. Needless to say I can't wait for Kambhakt Ishq :)

Spotted on Kareena Kapoor the Gucci Indy bag in a still from the upcoming movie 'Main aur Mrs Khanna'. On the Hollywood circuit the bag has also been seen on Eva Longoria.

Kareena Kapoor in Christian Dior

For the May issue of 'Ok' magazine Kareena Kapoor wears ensembles from the Christian Dior Spring 09 collection. She wears a yellow mini on the cover, a similar strapless version from the collection has been seen on Freida Pinto and Mischa Barton. My favourite from the shoot is the floor length gown with the criss-cross halter neck which Demi Moore wore to the Golden Globes.

In DvF

I followed my usual weekend routine of watching a movie this time it being 'Aa Dekhen Zaraa'. The best part of the movie for me was pre-movie i.e. the promo for Kambhakt Ishq. Kareena looks super fab in designer threads and one of them being this Diane von Furstenberg 'Ora' patio gown which was made famous when Paris Hilton wore it early last year. There's a few still going on eBay for a great price if you would like to grab one.

Can't wait to watch the film!

On the subject of Harper's Bazaar India with Kareena Kapoor as the cover girl , of the initial print run of about 18,000, 3000 have been studded with 48 flat black Swarovski elements of different sizes with the rest featuring 24 flat black crystals. This truly makes it a collector's edition and a wonderful statement piece for your coffee table. If I was in India I would be rushing to my nearest newstand to grab my copy right now! Kareena Kapoor at the launch of Anne French's new hair removal product was seen in what appears to be rather voluminous maxi dress which I personally think drowns her a bit. The colour is nice, the pulled back hair is chic but the silhoutte is not right. Your thoughts?
