Vogue India: Age(less) edition

Vogue India has finally gotten around to producing an Age(less) issue similar to what it's US and UK counterparts did last year. Gracing the cover are yesteryear supermodels Feroze Gujral and Shobha De alongside Ujjwala Raut and Jyothsna Chakravarthy. Feroze is wearing a Armani gown similar to the one that Kareena Kapoor wore on the inaugural issue of Harper's Bazaar. Ujjwala wears Alexander McQueen which I can't imagine anyone wearing in real life but is just so fabulous for editorial.

In Louis Vuitton

The latest Harper's Bazaar issue is out with Deepika Padukone on the cover in a Louis Vuitton black swimsuit from the Resort 09 collection accessorised with Louis accessories from the latest Spring collection. I really really like the cover.

Chitrangada Singh for Harper's Bazaar

The second issue of Harper's Bazaar which is due to hit newstands soon will also feature closeup shots of Chitrangada Singh in addition to Deepika gracing the cover.

Chitrangada says"If you want glamour, but don’t want heavy makeup, then a little shimmer does the trick."

So if you want the dewy makeup look that she's channelling bring out your favourite shimmer stick - a little will go a long way and use only on areas that you want to highlight.

Deepika Padukone for Harper's Bazaar

After Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone is next in line to be covergirl for the second edition of Harper's Bazaar. Here's a dekho at the magazine photoshoot which was shot in Phuket by ace photographer Atul Kasbekar. The colours of the ensembles, the lighting and styling are oh so perfect! On the subject of Harper's Bazaar India with Kareena Kapoor as the cover girl , of the initial print run of about 18,000, 3000 have been studded with 48 flat black Swarovski elements of different sizes with the rest featuring 24 flat black crystals. This truly makes it a collector's edition and a wonderful statement piece for your coffee table. If I was in India I would be rushing to my nearest newstand to grab my copy right now!
