In Dolce-Gabbana with Chanel

Spotted Kahkashan Patel in a Dolce Gabbana leopard dress and carrying a Chanel quilted clutch at the 'Kambhakt Ishq' success party. The dress is on sale at Bergdorf Goodman for a measly USD$2337 if you would like to invest in one. The Chanel clutch I absolutely love (and own one too); Ridhima Kapoor has been seen carrying the same before.

Fashioned up

Akki blings it up in an embellished grey pullover teamed with matching shoes at the 'Kambhakt Ishq' success bash. Wifey Twinkle opted for her fail safe mantra of hair swept to the side, a sheath dress teamed with a clutch. Purple looks fantastic on her and like her choice of neutral accessories. As for Akshay if there is any man in B-town who can pull off bling its him. Your thoughts?

Rocking a maxi

Although Melbourne is a city known for its fashion the one thing I really miss here is colourful outfits that you see everywhere in India. I often attract a lot of attention at work when I don't wear the requisite all black but who the hell cares! So you now know I love colour and I lurve Amrita's colourful maxi. The Rayban wayfarers don't quite suit her face though and she could have done without the two cuffs mixed with the resin bangle as one statement cuff or a simple bangle on its own would've worked just fine.

Spotted Neha Dhupia at the 'Puro' launch in a Shantanu-Nikhil suit which had the same cut and work as Malaika Arora's suit at sister Amrita's mehendi function. A lehenga version of the same has also been seen on Deepika Padukone. Your thoughts on Neha's look?

Obsessed with McQueen

Akshay Kumar sure is obsessed with the Alexander McQueen skull scarf. On the promo stills of 'Kambhakt Ishq' you can catch him wearing the scarf in beige and purple. I'm going to watch the movie tomorrow and sure can't wait! So look out for more posts covering more on the fab clothes the lead pair in the film are wearing. Back to the McQueen scarf; the scarf in the very same colour combo has also been seen on Karan Johar before and Akki owns the same in purple and fuschia which you can check out here and here.

Matching to the extreme

My regular readers would know this that I'm not big on matchy matchy outfits. Here's another one which apart from the extreme matching is also age inappropriate and better suited to someone who's half of Kishwar's age.

Floral gone wrong

Monica Bedi aptly dresses in a punjabi Patiala salwaar suit for a music album inauguration in Chandigarh. My gripes with the outfit are the overload of the jarring floral print and her choice of footwear. If the flowers were smaller I think using the print on both the salwaar and the dupatta would've worked but the print in this case is a bit too overpowering for my liking. On the footwear side, nothing works better with a punjabi suit than the good old juti.
