Sushmita Sen for Sanjana Jon

Sushmita Sen along with her brother Rajiv Sen walked the ramp for Sanjana Jon at India Fashion Week. Sanjana for those who may not know (like me until I googled her) is the sister of Indian born fashion designer Anand Jon who was recently convicted in the US. Whilst Sush and Salman who was the other celebrity to walk for her did generate a lot of interest in the show, her collection has received a lot of flak about which you can read here.

Back to Sushmita, the woman's got a fantastic body which she flaunts in a stock standard black strapless dress.

On Day 1 of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Tarun Tahiliani presented a "same old same old" collection featuring belted sarees (like the one we have seen Genelia don before) and the vested anarkali suits mixed with some dresses.

Leather too still continues to be huge so if you are in the market for a pair of skinny pants like Natasha check out the options at Shopbop who offer free worldwide shipping. Whilst the options I'm suggesting are not on the budget friendly side but when it comes to leather its all about quality as the cheaper versions end up looking quite tacky.

An ode to 'Blue'

The lead star of newly released movie 'Blue' Akshay Kumar and his very fashionable wife Twinkle Khanna chose to dress in blue hues as an ode to the movie perhaps for the premiere at Middle Eastern International Film Festival in Abu Dhabi. Akshay wore a Gucci suit with Versace shoes and Twinkle went traditional in a simple but stylish saree by Laila Motwani. I can't say enough on how much I love this woman's fashion sense and wish she would make a return to the big screen.
