In Monisha Jaising
The top two female stars in attendance at the Cosmopolitan Awards were dressed by Monisha Jaising. The designer chose outfits from her latest collection that she showcased at the HDIL Couture Week. When it comes to dresses I get swayed towards interesting prints in fabrics that feel divine and cut fabulously so generally speaking I tend to stay away from heavy embellishments, sequins etc. But I'm doing a 180 as I totally totally heart Katrina's outfit. As for Ms. Padukone between the fabric and the cut outs its probably the least body forgiving gown one can wear but what has she got to worry about with that fabulous body for hers! It's not the best colour for her as it makes her look ashy.

In Sync or Not?
Spotted Katrina Kaif and Ramesh Taurani's daughter wearing the same dress at the 'Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahani' success bash. I fail two understand why two grown women would do this! As kids my mum would dress me and my little sister alike; many a photos are a testament to this. But I don't kinda see the logic here. Anyone?

In a phase
Katrina Kaif seems to be impersonating her character from her upcoming movie 'Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahani' at the promo events - headband, cartoon tees and the same denim three quarters and white flats. The Minnie Mouse tee is cute but overall the look doesn't do much for me.I somehow have a feeling these looks have more to do with the movie's PR team rather than Kat's own style.

An almost ditto
Both Katrina Kaif and Aarti Surendranath were spotted wearing similar asymmetrical dresses doing the rounds at Lakme Fashion Week. The dresses aren't great to start with but if I had to choose Katrina fares marginally better because of the fabric and her choice of footwear.

Keeping it in circulation
Just like us our fav celebs also have things in their wardrobe that they are partial too. Katrina Kaif choose the same purple ruffled dress and the same black pumps for her appearance at the Lux Comedy Awards that she wore a couple of weeks ago to the Audi launch.

Same same
Sophie Chaudhary opted for the same pink lace saree for one of her IIFA appearances that we have already seen Katrina Kaif don for Amrita Arora's wedding. Which of the two ladies carry it off better than the other?

Katrina Kaif looked super fab at the Audi Q5 launch party in a fitted purple ruffle and tiered dress. The make up is perfect and its a look that's hard to find fault with.

Katrina Kaif as Barbie
Day 1 of Lakme Fashion Week Fall-Winter 09 in Mumbai kicked off with a commemoration to 50 years of Barbie. And who better from the B-town brigade than Katrina Kaif to doll up in fluro pink to impersonate one of the most popular icons. Katrina's outfit was designed was Nishka Lulla and featured an ethnic style bodice with a ruffle layered skirt. The look was finished off with patent pumps and leather gloves both in pink ofcourse.

Of nice lacy things
Two of my favourite looks sported by celebs at Amrita Arora and Shakeel Ladakh's wedding bash at Aurus were Katrina's stunning sari and Mehr Jessia's suit; both of which featured lace as the prime fabric.
Katrina always looks fantastic in pink and this sari is no exception. I love the understated colours but rich detailing of Mehr's suit which may be a tad bit long for most people to carry off but I'm sure that's not a consideration for her with her killer supermodel genes. Wish Arjun Rampal had opted for something ethnic rather than casual jeans to complement Mehr's look.

Of pastel hues
Like Katrina Kaif's summery pastel blue churidaar suit that she wore to the Chandan Sparsh Spa opening? Think the colour and silhoutte is perfect on her.

Sush most stylish says Cosmo
Cosmopolitan India have done a feature in their Jan 09 edition ranking Bollywood's top 20 stylish women. Bit surprised to see Sushmita Sen topping the charts! Whilst I'm a big Sush fan and back in the days of the Sush / Aish debate around who was more worthy of the Miss India and subsequently the Miss Universe title; I believed and still do that Sush was the perfect choice. On the flip side though I don't think currently she's the reigning style queen and the photo definitely isn't one of her latest or perhaps another photoshop wonder!
Following Sush on the countdown were Malaika Arora Khan, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif and Sonam Kapoor respectively in that order.
Do you think Sushmita Sen is worthy of the title? If not, who's your pick?

Casual avtaar
Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif grace Hindustan Times sunday mag "Brunch" in their best weekend wear. I'm loving the green on Ranbir but then again I'm bit biased as I'm obsessed with the guy!
