For the Chic files
I love everything about Lara Dutta's look at the GQ Man of the Year Awards that took place in Mumbai last night. The pink looks fantastic against her skin and I like how the black sash helps break the colour. Pulled back hair and stylish earrings and clutch complete her look.

Mixing it up
Abhay Deol's teaming of faded grey denims with a tuxedo jacket and a black skinny tie doesn't really work for me. He should have just gone classic with a suit pant. Not particularly liking the shoes either.

Back to the saree
After donning a spat of dresses Rani Mukherjee reverts back to her favourite ensemble - a saree at a Navratri celebration recently.

For the fugly files
Both Laila Khan and Sheetal Mafatlal earn places in the Fugly Hall of Fame with these ensembles they were sporting at the launch of the new Mumbai pub 'Tote'. Laila should have really covered up her innerwear with a shirt or something and should have given either the necklace or the belt a miss as together they are a bit much.
Sheetal too went a bit over the top with the matching python gladiators and clutch. The glads aren't nice at all so I would've just stuck to the clutch only and spent my money on better shoes. The pearl tassle necklace is just isn't required with the knotted neckline of her dress.

In Sabyasachi
How much I love Aishwarya for wearing this gorgeous Sabyasachi saree on the Oprah Winfrey show due to air soon. I love the simple bindi, the elbow length sleeves (yes I have a thing for them!) and the gorgeous saree.

Dior Ditto!
Looks like the Dior press pack is doing the rounds and close on the heels of the Twinkle-Akshay L'Officiel cover we have Shilpa Shetty as Harper Bazaar's cover girl for the October issue. Have a preference between the two covers?

Shahrukh & Kajol for Vogue India
The October issue of Vogue India is graced by Kajol and Shahrukh who also talk about their much awaited upcoming film 'My Name is Khan' in the magazine. Whilst its always exciting to see these two actors come together the cover itself is just strictly ok.

In Anupama Dayal
Designer Anupama Dayal was wearing one of her own creations from her latest collection 'Joie' from her lable Anupamaa. The theme of her collection was an "utopian valley of flowers in a smart city" and hence the floral ensemble.

An almost ditto
Both Katrina Kaif and Aarti Surendranath were spotted wearing similar asymmetrical dresses doing the rounds at Lakme Fashion Week. The dresses aren't great to start with but if I had to choose Katrina fares marginally better because of the fabric and her choice of footwear.

source & sourceFeeling Blue?
Designer to the stars Manish Malhotra gets it oh so wrong in this casual and corporate wear blue mish-mash. Usually impeccably dressed lets just blame the crazy busy-ness of Fashion Week for this debacle. The denims aren't the best fit either.
