In Gauri-Nainika

Spotted on Pooja Bedi a black Gauri-Nainika lattice gown at the Teacher's Achievement Awards. Mughda Godse has previously walked at the Kolkata Fashion Week wearing a strapless version in green. Got a favourite between the two styles?

Lack lusture

Both Mughda Godse and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan failed to impress me in "frocks" they put on at their latest public appearances. Aishwarya's reminded me so much of the number that she wore at the IIFAs (funnily enough I had titled that post Lack lusture as well). I don't like the cut, fabric or the colour on her one bit. With Mughda she's chosen a style that just makes her look bulky and why would a woman with a fab body want to do that to herself. Again the colour isn't doing her any favours either.

After Mughda Godse took to the runway for Satya Paul at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, Deepika Padukone walks for Tarun Tahiliani at Delhi Fashion Week. I really like the embellished neckline of the dress and this look fares much better for me than Mughda's runway appearance.

The long and short of 'yellow'

None of these yellow outfits worked for me as seen on Mughda Godse and Monica Bedi respectively at the Pogo Amazing Kids Awards.

Oriental influences

Both Deepika Padukone and Mughda Godse were seen in outfits with a strong oriental influence. Kudos to Deepika for pulling off this cape like dress and actually make it look quite ethereal - keep the make up minimal and hair simple. Mughda's outfit on the other hand is not doing much for me.
