Check out two of Preity's latest public appearances to make a call on the look that you liker her more in. Preity Zinta made an appearance on the closing night of the Mumbai Film Festival dressed in a striking red angrakha suit that she teamed with bronze accessories (Chanel bag and Guiseppe Zanotti sandals) and at a Human Trafficking NGO event she went in a pencil skirt suit teamed with patent black Louboutins. Both outfits were very apt for the occasions that she chose to wear them to but if I had to choose my vote goes to the skirt suit as I love the idea of a half sleeve jacket for summers.

On Reader Request: Preity Zinta in Manish Malhotra

Designer Manish Malhotra's celeb clientele were in full attendance at his show at HDIL Couture Week with loved up couple Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan even taking to the runway. Of the attendees my favourite look has to be of Sridevi - simple and elegant and the least favourite was Kajol as the colour of the kurta, the ill-fitted churidaar and hideous footwear totally killed it for me.

Sporting a new hair do Preity Zinta stepped out in a 'Being Human' mini dress teamed with a Zagliani clutch and the sandals that I have been lusting over for a few weeks now - Christian Louboutin Differa Sandals. The dress is a little bit short for my liking but I'm loving the hair do and the sandals I so want RIGHT NOW!!

Love love love everything about Preity Zinta's look at the 'French National Day' celebrations in Mumbai right from her minimalist au naturel makeup to the beautiful champagne gold gown. My initial thoughts were that it's a Notte by Marchesa gown as it instantly reminded me of the one that I had seen on stylist Rachel Zoe a while ago but on closer inspection it isn't. I'm going to keep looking for purely selfish reasons as I would lurve to get my hands on one.

First it was dual sightings of her Notte by Marchesa gown and now Preity Zinta puts her bright DvF Riedel dress to good use whilst promoting her upcoming movie Videsh. She was last seen in this dress visiting Salman Khan on the sets of Veer.

Accompanying the Indian cricket team to the New Zealand parliament Preity Zinta wore the same Notte by Marchesa black and gold leopard print gown that she had previously opted for the opening night of the Dubai International Film Festival. This time as well her choice of clutch is a Bottega Veneta knot.

This is a gorgeous gown so I'm sure she would've totally rocked it. I'll also update the post with some full length shots as they emerge.

Going B&W for the Filmfare Awards

A black and white strapless gown complete with lace detail on the bodice and a fishtail cut was Preity Zinta's choice for the Filmfare Awards. Going by the tightness in the lower mid-half bet she had to get stitched into it. Nevertheless I think she look's great and I'm loving the skinny black patent belt.

On reader request - Preity's look at Slumdog premiere

One of my regular readers has requested that I do a post on Preity Zinta's look at the Slumdog premiere in Mumbai. So here we go..

The outfit certainly adheres to the dress code which I assume was black tie as there were lots of sightings in the traditional black tie colours of black and white. It fits her well and she carries it with aplomb like everything else; but I do think she went a tad too conservative as well. Your thoughts?

Preity in DVF

Preity Zinta wears a classic Diane Von Furstenberg dress when visiting Salman Khan recently on set of upcoming movie "Veer". I couldn't find a pic of the exact same style but here's the halter neck version from the same collection. Which style do you prefer?

More of Preity from Dubai

Preity Zinta's second outing at the 5th Dubai International Film Festival was at the Amfar dinner. Think the outfit is strictly ok and definitely pales in comparison to the floor length black and gold gown she wore on the opening night.

Drool worthy

How utterly fabulous does Preity Zinta look on the opening night of Dubai 5th Annual International Film Festival! The dress is absolutely divine - so loving the gold with the black, perfect hair and makeup; PZ adds the perfect finishing touch to the outfit with the ever bankable Bottega Veneta gold clutch. This gown supercedes the red number Preity wore at the Toronto International Film Festival. Despite her petite frame Preity carries off floor length dresses with elan and rarely gets it wrong. This red carpet queen is here to stay!

Glittery affair

Update - Thanks Luna for sending through a full length shot of PZ's outfit. I love the colour on her !

Looked and looked but couldn't find a full length shot of PZ; attending the wedding of a politician's son. Bit hard to say whether Preity's traditional ensemble is a hit or a miss as we can't see it in full but I'm definitely liking the yellow and gold on her.

Also present at the event were designer duo Gauri & Nainika looking quite chic in their simple but elegantly draped sarees.
